We are now accepting 2025 BZ Miniroos New Player Expressions of Interest- please complete the form below.
Miniroos (U9-U11) is the introduction to playing the game competitively. MiniRoos teams play on smaller pitches with smaller goals, slightly modified rules and reduced player numbers – all conditions proven to be a more engaging and more effective form of the game for the development of younger players.

Miniroos teams play in fixtured leagues but without match points or league tables.

In 2024 we fielded a total of 17 teams with almost 200 players with many new families joining the Zebras community this year.

Taking the step to Miniroos means joining a supportive community of families who all chip in to help get their kids’ teams on the pitch and enjoying their football. Our coaches and team managers are predominantly drawn from the community of our players’ families, and other parents and carers contribute their time refereeing and marshalling among other duties.

The Miniroos match-day home ground at Balfe Park has a buzzing atmosphere each Sunday during the season with the canteen and BBQ working overtime to keep the hospitality flowing. In 2024, the Clifton Park training venue hosted the entire Miniroos cohort in one location.
